Finally, Electronic Books
Since I’m a longtime nerd, I’m always a big fan when a gadget comes out that has the potential to change our lives for the better. The kind of gadget that you’d expect to see in 2006 if you were Marty McFly in Back to the Future.
Sony’s releasing one. The Sony Reader, instead of eBooks, is actual hardware you can carry around that uses hi-tech screen technology to have an image about as clear as you’d expect a real book to be.
You know I’m not pimping this product out for money, of course, because I just don’t have that many readers. But you have to admit, it’s a little cooler living in a world where we now have an iPod for books.
