You can now welcome the Democratic Party as the majority shareholder in the U.S. House of Representatives.  A lot of people are already attributing the Democrats’ somewhat predictable success as reaction to the U.S. strategy in Iraq.
I don’t think it could purely be because of Iraq, otherwise John Kerry might be president.
