Colts Win, Bears Lose
After a quick kickoff return touchdown from the other-worldly Devin Hester, the Bears pretty much laid a stinker against the Indianapolis Colts yesterday in Superbowl XLI. I guess if I had to pick one other team to win the Superbowl, it would be the Colts, although that’s if you told me that the Bears had no chance anyway.
Superbowl-losing teams historically have bad seasons the year after they make it to the Superbowl, so I don’t know what’s next for the Bears, other than an interesting off-season.
It’s really an empty feeling to come this far and then lose, so I can’t imagine how the players and coaches feel.
Then, as if nature wants to punish us further, it’s about minus ten degrees and minus 30 with windchill right now in fabulous downtown Milwaukee.
