North Korea has agreed to temporarily shut down their nuclear program. You have to be skeptical of pleased with this development, and I’m curious why it’s getting only drive-by media attention. Is a gigantic snow storm that newsworthy?
What exactly is the deal? Here are the terms:
North Korea now has 60 days to shut down its Yongbyon nuclear complex and readmit nuclear inspectors. In return, it will get 50,000 tons of fuel oil or financial aid of an equal amount.

I won’t say much, but this is a funny report on Drudge: 
The Subcommittee on Energy and Air Quality hearing scheduled for Wednesday, February 14, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. in room 2123 Rayburn House Office Building has been postponed due to inclement weather. The hearing is entitled “Climate Change: Are Greenhouse Gas Emissions from Human Activities Contributing to a Warming of the Planet?”
Inclement weather = blizzard.
