Google, the company that has the famous motto “Don’t be evil,” has once again failed to recognize Memorial Day on their website.
Last year, Google didn’t do it either, leading to some criticize, since Google will celebrate just about anything.  I don’t get it – Memorial day isn’t a very political holiday.
Google celebrated Earth Day even – see it in the Google archives – with an iceberg logo.

This is both a non-story and a story.  A breakthrough in cancer screening that could allow doctors to find out your predispositions to certain types of cancers could be happening.  The problem is that it hasn’t even happened.  Scientists are simply expecting it to happen.
Researchers are confident that their findings will allow a screening programme, in which the inherited risk of developing cancer can be assessed for every patient, to be in place in an estimated 12-15 years.
So it’s not really news, because nothing has actually happened except …
