By now, you’ve probably heard that Mike Huckabee and Barack Obama won Iowa.  Here are my thoughts about yesterday’s caucuses.
Who Gains the Most (Besides Huckabee and Obama)?
-The Johns:  McCain and Edwards.  McCain showed up strong enough to bear mentioning, and he was already banking on New Hampshire anyway.  In fact, yesterday, people had to interview him there, not in Iowa.  Edwards had been aiming for second place and desperately wanted to avoid third.  Although he did it narrowly, it was enough.
Who Loses the Most?
-Mitt Romney.  He really banked on Iowa.  …
