How Many Five Year Olds Could You Take In A Fight? (Dot Com)

A few years back, my brother was still at Marquette University in Milwaukee. He had a roommate that once asked an interesting question (and a question, I should point out, that I then asked to BipolarNation on the message boards). It goes like this:

How many five year olds could you take in a fight?

The question became a sort of internet phenomenon, for whatever reason (if I knew, I would be creating lots of them), and now someone has set up an official site for the question.

There are some interesting stipulations:

You are in an enclosed area roughly the size of a basketball court
There are no weapons or foreign objects
Everyone is wearing a cup (so no kicks to the groin)
The children are merciless and will show no fear
If a child is knocked unconscious, he is “out.” The same goes for you.

So, what’s your answer?

The toughest thing is imagining what an actual five year old - I think they’re a lot more helpless than we first imagine a “five year old” being.  I’d say 20-30.

BTW, the original post where my brother’s former roommate first posed the question is here.
