What’s Your Highest Priority for a Potential President?
A while ago I posted about the qualities and policies I look for in a candidate. I never, however, asked what you, the good people of BipolarNation, value most in your Presidential candidates.
So I put together a list of current issues and policies. Go to this thread on the BipolarNation Forums and vote for which one is most important to you.
Note: These categories indicate issues, not positions. For example, if a politician being a low military spender is very important to you, you’d still rank “Military spending” highly on your list.
Another example is with me and the environment: although I think global warming is a hoax, it’s not exactly a fatal flaw in my mind for a candidate to be pro-environment, so I’d indicate that as having “low importance” even though I think the issue itself is baloney. This would make Al Gore a much worse candidate, in my eyes, for supporting abortion than for all of his global warming hibbery doo.
Here are the ten issues to choose from:
- Taxes
- Abortion
- Military spending
- Foreign policy
- Electability
- Environment stance
- Health Care
- Education
- Candidate’s age
- Other
