Paul Ryan (Republican U.S. Representative from Wisconsin’s 1st District) is the Bobby Jindal of Wisconsin:  a young, smart conservative.  Another similarity?  He’s been tossed around as a possible VP pick for McCain.  McCain, by the way, is visiting my home state today:
U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Janesville) will join Republican presidential nominee John McCain at this afternoon’s town hall meeting in Greendale, according to the McCain campaign.
Ryan has been mentioned by some observers as a possible vice presidential pick for McCain, most notably in February by columnist Robert Novak.

Words mean a lot. Before we had words, humanity was a wandering race of nomadic moobs, oblivious to the possibilities of technology and civilization. After words, we have produced this, this, and this. As you see, words are not entirely meaningless.
That’s why the debate over abortion, an important debate no doubt, has its own lingo. Thing is, I’m wondering if the lingo needs a re-write.
