As I write this, Dubya’s approval rating is in the 20s-30s, meaning Bush-bashing is as popular as it’s ever been. As a conservative, my first instinct is to defend the Republican, but that’s usually right before I find myself asking, wait – am I really defending such a conservative?
Check out Bush’s approval-ratings graph to the right. Essentially, you see a big jump after 9/11 and then a pretty steady decline after that, to the present levels.
