This week, Republicans have been gaining ground on the Democrats using – what else? – oil as their fuel.

It’s not hard. Obama’s energy plan is to use more tire gauges. Nancy Pelosi, Democratic Speaker of the House, is on vacation while Republicans have been pulling overtime on the House of Representatives floor. It’s embarrassing them.

It also helps that Democrats know nothing about how to fight the “energy crisis.” They actually don’t want to drill domestically. I’ll say that again: they know we have an addiction to foreign oil and they don’t want to allow oil companies to drill in more places here at home.

I see the real Democratic strategy now. Expand publik edyoo-kayshun enough so that every American is dumb enough to accept the premise that Democrats even belong in Washington.

I don’t know how they could be coming across any worse when it comes to the oil “crisis.” And notice I keep putting crisis in quotes – what crisis? Prices are high! They were apparently unsustainable and have dropped significantly since reaching their highest point.

Even idiot Democrats who want people to use less gas fail to see that when prices were high, the market forced people to use less gas. People drove less, planes were grounded – not because of what the government decreed from the throne, but because of the BLEEPING PRICES.

So you want people to use less gas? Fine! But don’t legislate that BS! The free market will do that for you!

Meanwhile Obama’s making weird claims like people need to keep air in their tires more. Whenever a politician says you “need” to do something, run for the hills. Nancy Pelosi is embarrassed by a shoddy-selling book and Republicans who are working harder than her.

And since the War in Iraq has all but disappeared as an issue, energy is clearly #1. The tide has changed toward drilling, and because people are sheep, they are going with the flow. And guess which party wants to drill.
