Obama: America Isn’t What it Once Was

Barack Obama just can’t go impromptu. A seven-year-old girl asked him why he was running for President, and here’s what he came up with:

“America is …, uh, is no longer, uh … what it could be, what it once was. And I say to myself, I don’t want that future for my children.”

Hmm. This means that Obama sees America as undergoing a downward trend. Considering America started out with legal slavery, ended up with illegal slavery and put a man on the moon, I’d have to go ahead and argue for the opposite.

No wonder Obama doesn’t want to have town hall meetings with John McCain – if he’s not on script, he’s providing YouTube fodder.

And is it any surprise that when he goes impromptu, that YouTube fodder includes bashing America?
