Barack Obama is more “Pro-Choice” than Barbara Boxer

Maybe I can’t quite figure out McCain, but not voting for Barack Obama is one of the easiest political decisions I’ll ever make. When it comes to one of the biggest issues of our day - abortion - he and I have major difference. When it comes to abortion, I am Pro-the-living-of-sentient-human-beings and Barack Obama is Pro-the-killing-of-sentient-human-beings.

There goes Dan again, making pro-choicers sound like murderous weirdos. Well, I call them like I see them. And Obama’s position on abortion has consistently been about as horrible as possible.

For example, he thinks we should change our stance on partial-birth abortion:

Given Obama’s position on babies born alive, it should come as no surprise that he opposes and denounces all restrictions on every kind of abortion, including partial-birth abortions. He promised at a Planned Parenthood event in July 2007 that “the first thing” he will do as president — his top priority for the nation — is sign the Freedom of Choice Act, which would erase every federal and state restriction on abortion, no matter how modest. His top priority, again, is to re-legalize partial birth abortion under all circumstances, abolish all laws on informed consent and parental notification, and eliminate all state restrictions on taxpayer funding of abortions.

No humanitarian impulse or consideration of bipartisanship has ever swayed Barack Obama’s legislative mind on the issue of abortion. Pro-life voters who try to convince themselves otherwise engage in willful self-deception.

Hear that, Pro-life voters?

Not only is he 100% pro-choice (as rated by NARAL), he has given special “this will be my first act” status to trying to legalize partial-birth abortions.

Liberals talk about the need for bipartisanship all the time - rather, all the time when it suits them. But Republicans are the first ones to come to their knees. But when it comes to abortion, Democrats are famously unshakeable.

But Barack Obama isn’t just unshakeable. He wants more abortions, or at least that’s what we can gather from his defense of killing babies already outside the womb. Outside the womb! You can’t even stupidly call that “pro-choice” at that point!

Anyone who calls themselves pro-life has no business voting for this guy. If they vote for him, saying “well, we disagree on abortion, but we agree on X and Y,” then they are undervaluing the importance of abortion as an issue.

I mean, for crying out loud, even Barbara Boxer backed a bill similar to the one Obama saw in the Illinois Senate. When the Born Alive Infants Protection Act came to the U.S. Senate in 2001, she spoke out on its behalf, saying she hoped the vote would be unanimous.

There were 0 votes against it.

That’s how pro-abortion Barack Obama is.

So, pro-lifers who aren’t certain about their vote: don’t get seduced by the “change” mantra. Look at the facts here. Not voting for Obama should be the easiest political decision you make.
