Watching last night’s debate and debate preparations, I actually considered the 2000 Bush vs. Gore town hall debate to be the “golden days.”  That says something about how boring these debates have been.
Where’s the fire?  Where’s the passion?  Where are the principles?  Where are the exchanges?  Where are the awkward moments in which Obama walks up to McCain while McCain makes his point, forcing McCain to give a “howyoudoin” nod to Obama?
Both candidates were unexciting.  I’ll go through each specifically.
