One small victory traditional conservatives had on Nov. 4th was the passage of California Proposition 8, an amendment to the California constitution defining marriage as between a man and a – ready for this? – woman.
Despite rabid opposition from celebrities (you remember celebrities, right? They champion other insignificant moral-political issues like animal rights), Proposition 8 passed in the liberal state:
