Now conservative politicians might be on the right track.
The Democrats of the House vote in favor of the monster stimulus package – 224-11.
Not one House Republican voted for it.  177 voted against.  Roll Call here.
Thank you, GOP.  I finally feel like I have some representation in Congress, voices ready to speak for fiscal restraint and conservatism.  Voices unified and sending a message to history:  “this plan was not ours.”  We will know for sure where this bill came from.
With passage from the House, the bill moves to the Senate.  Now …

The scene:  A dark hallway at night.  BPN operatives,  under direct orders from BPN dictator Dan Kenitz, hold flashlights and slowly make their way to a door.  Employing a range of lock-picking and espionage techniques, they finally enter the room.  Inside is a simple combination-lock safe that contains the secret Stimulus plans of the Democratic party.  One operative simply has to press his ear to the safe while rotating the combination knob, and…
It opens!
Inside, there is a single flash drive.  “What do we do with it?” asks one of …

I guess Michelle Obama is finding out how not-fun it is to be one of the most famous people in the world, considering every little move you make faces so much scrutiny that you get for your bleeping dresses.
The Black Artists Association is chiding FLOTUS for not choosing any African-American designers.
They will send a letter to FLOTUS’s office and appeal to her to include items from black designers in her wardrobe. BAA Cofounder Amnau Eele, who was a former runway model told Women’s Wear Daily:
“It’s fine and good if you …

Now that John McCain’s not running for office, he can stop pretending he’s a conservative again. In fact, he’s already making mavericky noise in the Senate, reminding us all why we were so disappointed to have him as the Republican nominee.
The surest sign of McCain’s return to his “maverick” ways came when he caught wind of an effort by Sen. John Cornyn (R-Tex.) to delay Clinton’s confirmation vote by a day, pushing it from Tuesday to Wednesday because he was seeking greater disclosure about foreign donors to former president …

No Oscar nomination for Best Picture for The Dark Knight.
Robert Downey, Jr. gets nominated for best supporting actor for Tropic Thunder. Oh, we’re nominating comedy performances now? Someone tell Jim Carrey.
The Oscars are so dumb.

Abortion, Domestic Policy, Government/Politics, What's Shakin'? »

Note:  Part of this article is also inspired an addition in the BPN Platform.
Today is the 36th Anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision, which used an amendment designed to grant rights to former slaves in order to rule that women have the right to kill their children.
In other words, it’s been 36 years of this bleep.  Abortions have dramatically increased, and tens of millions of infants have died.
With our nation already leaning so far to the left on this huge issue, I’m keeping a close eye on the new …

I was looking at my Tax Policy as outlined in the BipolarNation.com Platform and realized there are some taxes I didn’t mention that should be eliminated:
1.  The Capital Gains Tax
A tax on the profit you earn from selling non-inventory assets.  If you invest in a stock, and it goes up, and you sell the stock for a profit, you have to pay the capital gains tax.  In other words, you get taxed for plugging money into the economy and helping a company create wealth and jobs.  Those who don’t venture …

I won’t be celebrating today, because today I become a dissenter.  For conservative politicians, it’s time to go to work, with eyes on the 2010 Congress and the 2012 Elections.

Obama gave “first act” status to signing the Freedom of Choice Act.  I can’t exactly celebrate along with everyone else when this piece of bleep is looming, unless of course Obama lied about it.
How come Obama’s administration pretty much adopted the Bush timetable in Iraq and no one cares?  There are a few potential answers I can think of.  One, the …

Amidst all of the hubbub, hibbity-jibbity, other hilarious gibberish, Barack Obama’s high transition approval rating (83%, and it helps that Bush’s team probably isn’t removing the O’s from the keyboards), and insane Inauguration-apalooza filled with celebrities who can sing well, I find myself in the minority.
I’m not talking about conservatives, though that may be true, as well.  I’m talking about people who don’t wish for Barack Obama to do well.  Those people who think that I should respect the Presidency are often the same people who called Bush names.  And …
