Academia Strikes Again
Jonathan Lopez was giving a speech on marriage in his class at LACC (Los Angeles City College), quoting the dictionary and the Bible in apparent attempts to defend the traditional “man and a woman” argument, when he was cut off by the teacher and not allowed to finish. According to Lopez, the professor, John Matteson, proceeded to call him a “fascist bastard.”
It happened in a classroom setting? Then yeah, I believe it.
If American education wasn’t so busy molesting, beating, and harassing kids, this would be laughable by now.
Two other kids in the class reported being deeply offended by Lopez’s speech, but offending supporters of “gay rights” is easier than shooting fish in a barrel. You can trip and fall and offend a “gay rights” supporter because you fell straight to the ground.
Now, the student is suing LACC:
“Basically, colleges and universities should give Christian students the same rights to free expression as other students,” David J. Hacker, an attorney for the Alliance Defense Fund, a Christian legal organization that is representing Lopez, told the Los Angeles Times.
Sounds fair to me.
After calling his own student a fascist bastard, the fascist bastard in charge of the class graded Lopez’s speech and apparently wrote “Ask God what your grade is.”
The speech was made a few days after the passing of Proposition Gr8 in California, so homosexual sensitivity was even higher than its usual level of “Menstruating Woman.”
Doesn’t matter. I’m sure a student could have easily defended gay marriage in that class without being called a fascist bastard, so this student should be able to defend straight marriage.
