What, no flying cars yet?
Honda Motor Co., one of those car companies that doesn’t have to check with Barack Obama to take a leak, has found a way to connect a person’s thoughts with the operation of robotics in order to do things like open trunks.
Holy shindig!
Opening a car trunk or controlling a home air conditioner could become just a wish away with Honda’s new technology that connects thoughts inside a brain with robotics.
Honda Motor Co. (HMC) has developed a way to read patterns of electric currents on a person’s …

So Barack Obama fancies himself a CEO, and some are saying why not?  After all, if these companies wanted to take taxpayer money, they’ll have to answer to the taxpayers.  Of course, saying Barack Obama represents taxpayers is kind of like saying he represents Catholics, but that’s another issue.
This is what happens when you let the government take over – they run things.  That’s why smart entrepreneurs are skeptical of venture capitalists, unless they definitely need the cash infusion – the people with the gold make the rules.
But something curious …

The President of Brazil apparently thinks that the economic crisis can be linked not to regulation and excessive government intervention, but to people of a particular skin type.  My skin type – although I’m not sure if he said “pasty white” or just “white.”
From the Financial Times:
Speaking in Brasília at a joint press conference with Gordon Brown, the UK prime minister, Mr Lula da Silva told reporters: “This crisis was caused by the irrational behaviour of white people with blue eyes, who before the crisis appeared to know everything and …

Remember how I said marriage fights the war on poverty?  Well, it’s true.  But today I’d like to expand on that:  not only is marriage good for civilization, but the family is great.
It’s easy to get caught up in arguments with liberals when they ask “well, what do we do with homeless/out of work/sick/old people?  Surely, sir, a strong civilization would not yield to such things!”
I don’t think it’s a question of what “we” (as they mean it, it means “government”) should do.  People already live in communes all the …

Note:  This post was authored by TalonJohn.
This was a civil, polite yet assertive questioning to Fed Chairman Bernanke done by Ron Paul. It was cut short, but what if Obama could answer even this fairly broad questioning – and have an intelligent person ask insightful follow up questions rather than an empty TV personality moving on to the next “hot button” issue or throwing another softball.

So yeah, I hate that I’ll probably never witness such an exchange.

I just signed this petition to Fr. John Jenkins, President of the University of Notre Dame, to hopefully block Obama from giving a commencement speech on May 17th.
I would love for this to happen.
First, it would embarrass the least presidential President in my lifetime, a guy who talks about the great crisis we’re in and then goes and fills out NCAA brackets and yuks it up with Jay Leno.  Can you imagine George W. Bush saying something like “under Clinton” without adding “President” or “former President” in there?  Obama does.
Second, …

It’s not his avoidance of Household Employees surtaxes.
It’s not just because he’s a part of Obama’s pathetic kitchen cabinet.
I mean look at him during one of his bumbling, vague, beaurocratic insubstantial public appearences.
His mousy, sniveling back pedaling grants him the dishonor of embodying everything wrong with the growth of big, over-reaching government. Not accountable for anything, and answers for nothing. Obscure yet pervasive.
He, like his executive leader, is a cipher. He stands for nothing, and the American public seems to be falling for …

Let’s see if I understand this whole AIG bonus situation.

The government legislates that more people should own houses, forcing banks to make loans to people who can’t afford to pay the loans back.  House prices soar and burst, beginning the financial crisis.  The government pays big money to huge banks like AIG.
Rahm Emmanuel says you shouldn’t waste a crisis.
Liberal Senator Chris Dodd puts in bonus protection into legislation to protect his chums at AIG.
The public finds out about hundreds of million dollars in AIG bonuses.
Now liberal congressman are all over …

Barack Obama is going on the Tonight Show tonight – the first sitting President to do so – and some people think maybe he should get out of his rock star-wannabe butt and be a better President instead.  Meanwhile, he’s also been on ESPN filling out March Madness brackets.
Coach K of Duke had this to say:
“Somebody said that we’re not in President Obama’s Final Four, and as much as I respect what he’s doing, really, the economy is something that he should focus on, probably more than the brackets,” Duke …
