Barack Obama spoke at the Jesuit private university, Georgetown University, and when he did, apparently some people covered up some symbols that would have been seen behind Obama, including “IHS” referring to Jesus.

What is happening with Catholic universities? First, Notre Dame invites Obama to speak at a commencement. Now Georgetown University, another Catholic university, apparently is willing to cover up some of its most sacred symbols because Obama’s crew asked them to.

They are symbols, yes. But tell me what the symbol of acquiescing to team Obama’s wishes says.

Would Obama walk into a Mosque and ask for all of the Islam symbols to be blocked? I doubt it. Many Catholics in this country continue to show political weakness, and it’s very frustrating. The next time team Obama asks for Christian symbolism to be blocked, I say tell him he should find another university.
