In the 2010 U.S. federal budget, almost $47 billion is pledged to the Department of Education. This is $47 billion too much. The Department of Education should be cut from the federal budget and education should be left to the states themselves.

My policy on climate change has two main points that argue against heavy federal government regulation of industry:

This is an idea I’ve been kicking in my head for a while: fully forming my political positions and putting it all down for everyone to see. I’m going to call it the BipolarNation Platform 1.0, with the idea in mind that it can be flexible enough (though not wavering in its principles) for a 2.0 and 3.0, etc, down the road.
The Platform would break down each issue and give sources, research, and examples why, for example, a flat tax would work better than a progressive tax.
