I can’t remember being much more frustrated as a U.S. citizen than when I saw the House of Representatives pass H.R. 3962 on a Saturday night just a few days ago. Sneaky Democrats (including Nancy “The Catholic Church Isn’t Sure About Abortion” Pelosi) were smiling from ear-to-ear, jutting out their chins, and clapping in self-congratulation after passing what the Wall Street Journal has called the worst bill of all time.
Ladies and gentlemen, Barack Obama’s America!

According to the CDC, gathering numbers from the 36 states (and the District of Columbia) that report abortions by race, 203,991 black people died from abortion in 2005, compared to 198,385 combined who died from heart disease, cancer, strokes, accidents, diabetes, homicide, and chronic respiratory diseases.
In other words, abortion is doing the job that genocidal, black-hating racists want done, except it’s legal and it’s with the permissions of the mothers.

Steve Pavlina is horribly wrong here.
The online self-help sensation’s latest post, Modern-Day Nazis, made the assertion that eating eggs is at a level of morality equivalent to Nazis like Himmler and Hitler.
I’m not joking.
He said:
What’s the difference between being the guy who tosses the live baby chicks into the grinder vs. paying someone else to do it for you? Of course there’s no meaningful difference other than how much you distance yourself from the truth.
There’s really no difference between this level of conscience and Hitler’s treatment of the Jews.
Uh, no, …

Pope Benedict XVI recently talked about Catholic politicians when talking to Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi:
Pope Benedict XVI on Wednesday told U.S. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, a Catholic who supports abortion rights, that Catholic politicians have a duty to protect life “at all stages of its development,” the Vatican said.
Pelosi is the first top Democrat to meet with Benedict since the election of Barack Obama, who won a majority of the Catholic vote despite differences with the Vatican on abortion.
The Vatican released remarks by the pope to …

Note: Part of this article is also inspired an addition in the BPN Platform.
Today is the 36th Anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision, which used an amendment designed to grant rights to former slaves in order to rule that women have the right to kill their children.
In other words, it’s been 36 years of this bleep. Abortions have dramatically increased, and tens of millions of infants have died.
With our nation already leaning so far to the left on this huge issue, I’m keeping a close eye on the new …

How’s this for the most evil stocking stuffer I’ve ever heard of: “gift vouchers” from Planned Parenthood of Indiana?
Says the Washington Times:
The group’s Hoosier State chapter on Wednesday began selling gift certificates redeemable at any of its 35 facilities for any service provided — from basic health screenings to birth control to abortions.
Betty Cockrum, president and chief executive of Planned Parenthood of Indiana, said the program was initiated in response to the state’s ailing economy.
“Our patients are principally low-income women, and so, needless to say, those patients are more challenged …

Liberals remind me of the old Henry Ford quote, when he said (paraphrased) “the customer can have any color he wants – as long as it’s black.” To liberals, you can protest all you want, and as violently as you want – as long as you’re protecting on behalf of some liberal sacred cow like gay marriage or the imagined right to choose.
Case in point: New York City is considering legislation that would create a 15-foot “buffer zone” between abortion protesters and clinics.
As Michelle Malkin notes, pro-gay rights …

The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel published two idiots in its Letters to the Editor section today. Coincidentally, they were both idiots on the same issue: abortion.
Let’s dissect these dumb mamma jammas one at a time.
First, we have Joe Geck from Waukesha.
As a fiscally conservative, progressive independent who thinks most wars are wrong (Iraq wrong, Afghanistan necessary) and who is pro-life, I am torn during elections. I tend to vote Democratic but haven’t been upset when Republicans win because I think at least one issue I support will get attention.
But even with the …

According to the Pew Research Center, Catholics have voted pretty evenly for the Republican Presidential candidate and the Democratic candidates in ‘00 and ‘04. To be precise, Catholics voted 47%-50% Bush-Gore in 2000 and 52-47 Bush-Kerry in 2004.
Bush is pro-life. Gore and Kerry are both pro-abortion. The Catholic Church is pro-life. As it says in the Catechism:
Human life must be respected and protected absolutely from the moment of conception. From the first moment of his existence, a human being must be recognized as having the rights …
